     Our tour starts from Borjomi. In the famous resort of Borjomi the visitors can walk in the Park and taste mineral water Borjomi from the spring. Also, you can go up by the cableway and enjoy amazing view to Borjomi Canyon. We go to the cave city of the XII-XIII centuries. Our stop is Vardzia founded by Queen Tamara. This is a cave monastery site in southern Georgia, excavated from the slopes of the Erusheti Mountain on the left bank of the Kura River, 30 km from Aspindza. The city’s grand subterranean church, The Church of the Dormition (also known as the Church of Assumption), brings many travelers from all around the world to visit the Vardzia Cave Monastery. While the cavernous structure of the city itself is a site to behold, this church acts as the cornerstone of the site and brings everything together as a cohesive whole. The church is also of a unique importance as there is a preserved painting of Queen Tamara, made while she was alive.
