Price:
The tour starts from Tbilisi. After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Kakheti region well known for its wine production. On our way we will enjoy superb views of Great Caucasus Mountains and valleys of Kakheti; acknowledge traditions and culture of the country and region, taste wines and delicious food. Our first stop will be at the 19th century Georgian duke’s palaces in Tsinandali. We will have a pleasant walk in the beautiful garden and taste different kinds of red and white wine. We will have lunch tasting homemade dishes at a local’s house, enjoy the hospitality of the local people and taste some delicious homemade wine. Afterwards we drive to one of the farmer’s houses to see a unique 300-year-old wine-cellar. We get acquainted with the Georgian way of wine-making, quite different from the European one. Here we taste 5-6 year-old red and white wines. On the way back we also visit the city of love – Sighnaghi.
