    The trip flows through the Georgian Military highway. We will see a unique beauty summed up in Jinvali reservoir. Here, the perfect blue surface of the reservoir encourages you to soak up into the atmosphere and get lost in the nature. After that, we will visit the ancient fortress Ananuri. This multifunctional architectural complex of the late feudal times was built on the right bank of Aragvi River in the 16th– 17th centuries. Within the complex, amongst other buildings, there are two churches. The older one – Church of the Virgin, which abuts a tall square tower, has the graves of some of the Dukes of Aragvi. The larger one – Church of the Assumption (Ghvtismshobeli) is a central dome style structure with richly decorated facades, including a carved north entrance and a carved grapevine cross on the south facade. We continue our way to famous ski resort Gudauri located on the slopes of the Great Caucasus Range. From the Arch of Friendship breathtaking views of mountain peaks are opened. Our next point is the village of Stepantsminda, located in the high mountain region Kazbegi. From here we start our ascent of Mount Gergeti (2200 meters) heading to the Monastery of the Gergeti Trinity (UNESCO). The church was built in the 14th century, and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. Also, visitors are given an opportunity to see the top of Kazbegi peak (5047 m), the second highest top in Georgia.
