     This tour is specially designed around Kakheti region for all wine lovers and not only. We are starting our tour from the capital of Kakheti Telavi. Here, centrally located Batonis Tsikhe fortress (XVIII c) boasts the oldest tree in Georgia- a 9000-years old platan.  Next, we visit the monasteries Shuamta (V c.)  and Alaverdi (XI c.). The Cathedral of the monastery is one of the highest located churches of Georgia. Another masterpiece is monastery complex, founded in the XII century by the Monk Arseny of Ikalto. Here famous Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli studied the masters. Moving on we will get to Tsinandali – the mansion of Georgian noble family Chavchavadze. This is truly considered one of the most important cultural centers of Georgia in XIX century. The place is also famous for hosting well-known writer Alexander Griboyedov and his wife Nino Chavchavadze.  To sum up the day, the visitors are given the opportunity to savor indigenous “Tsinandali” wine and lounge around the park of the mansion.
